Sorrounded by agricultural area, once that was green but now struggling due to receding ground water levels. Peaceful area with mixed culture {Tamil, Telugu and Kannada and a small proportion of Malayalam speaking population}. Facilities: Well connected to COimbatore town through City buses and Moffusil buses. Water: Reasonably adequate supply from Pilloor Reservoir Climate: Moderately HOT during summer, pleasant weather over other seasons People: Friendly and peaceful Schools: 2 Matriculation schools (12th standard), 1 Govt school (Up to 10th standard) and elementary schools for every pocket.
