Built on a donated vacant lot in 2003, this building houses the visual and performing arts facilities for the Creative and Performing Arts school ("CAPA", grades 6-12, Pittsburgh Public Schools). A tall JumboTron on its corner displays student art.

The spouses of world leaders came here for a tour and a concert during the Pittsburgh G20 summit (2009).
