  The village is famous for Shree Rameshwar Devasthan where Shivratri Utsav is carried out with sports and dramas for more than 60 years. The Rameshwar Mandir is undergoing Jeernodhdhar making it spacious and beutiful

  Its owsom. Gaonkhadi village is one of the best village in ratnagiri district. Long coastal line,estuary, different type of flora and fauna, spiritual locations and natural wonders are found in village. About 5000-6000 villagers or population of gaon. Educational,medicals, tranportation facilities are also avilable. plz visit again and again thank you.. ( Rajesh jaywant Ambre)
