Bhoo is tiny village, close to Rajapur Town. It is lush green crowded with Bittlenut & Mango trees. It is slightly more developed than other villages around it. It has better infrastructure than other villages. people are reasonably educated, because well educated people left the village for better prospectus. Padhye, Sapre,Bhatye, Lagvankar,Sarphare,Chauhan,Bhinge,Ninave are some of the oldest families staying Happily. A few of them are poor by wealth, but they are all rich mentally. There is Primary as well as secondary school alongwith Juniour College. Bhoo accomodates Small restaunts and Bank of Maharastra During last mansoon there was torrential rain, Very very Heavy rain in short time resulted in historical level flood. It digged out river by 10 feet even. it made practically impossible to construct small Bandhares (Tiny temporary dams)making life miserable for the villagers. Villagers are awaiting Govt. financial help. Lord Lakshmikant Lord Shiva & Godess devi have 3 independant Temples clustered togather. Goddess Aryadurga close to Bhoo is family Goddess of Padhye, Sapre, Bhatye, Lagvankar,Phansalkar,Navre, Agte etec. etc. Deo as well as other families. Itis strongly believed that this Goddess is Jagruit Devasthan and it fulfills your requirements and relives from difficulties. Approximately 10 Kilometer from Bhoo towards rajapur there is another marvelous Shiva temple Shree Dhootpapeshwar locally called as Dhopeshwar. Mahankali is another old temple near Rajapur & thus Bhoo. I am son of 'Keshav Padhye, famous Astrologer & Philosopher', born and brought up at Bhoo. I visit my native place to recharge my enthusiasm & to refresh old memories of my childhood. Bhoo is really one of the most wonderful village to visit for couple of days. I can extend more information if enquired at padhyerk@yahoo.co.in. Mr. PadhyeKAKA From Vasai has obliged by plublishing CD on this Area.
