A parish of Hampshire including Hampshire Collegiate School, West Wellow, Ham Down in the centre with its beautiful pond Ham Lake and Wood, Canada and Canada Common in the South beside the heathland West Wellow Common which is indeterminate on the ground from adjoining Plaitford Common. East Wellow has the village church which is flint faced stone dating to 1215 the year of the Magna Carta where Florence Nightingale is buried and has a significant memorial.
