608-foot, 49-story tower that opened in 1991 with Saks Fifth Avenue as an anchor, this vertical shopping mall with 8th floor food court never attracted the shoppers of other vertical malls on Michigan Avenue. By early 2009 most retailers except Saks had vacated, and the space was converted to offices. The complex is topped by by 50 floors of luxury condominiums.
