A private cemetery accessible only by tribal members, relatives of the deceased, and escorted guests. The large stone marker was built in 1938 by Dobie Gunnarson in memory of his friend Serafin "Steve" Esteves. Both men worked at the borax mines in Ryan and also did the rock work at the Furnace Creek Inn.
