This bridge is a steel thru truss carrying Virginia Route 3 across the Rappahannock River linking Lancaster County on the lower Northern Neck with Middlesex County on the Middle Peninsula. It was built in 1957 and was last reconstructed in 1996. It is 9,989 feet long, carries two lanes, and has approximately 100' clearance to mean high water under the center span.
