A beautiful bhanjyang (pass) at the altitude of circa 1200 metres from sea level with a panoramic view of the Himalaya on the north; used to be the busy trade route between Chapakot in the south and Waling and Nuwakot in the north.
Used to have a disused army barrack including an armoury until destroyed by the Maoists during the Maoist Movement; confirming an important location for the Rana rulers and the subsequent governments in the past. Exact time until when the Army unit was located here is yet to be established.
