Elegant hotel built in 1913 for the Romanov tercentenary celebrations. Operated as the Hotel Berlin through much of the Soviet era, restored in 1989 by a joint venture between Intourist and Finnair. The hotel was completely renovated in 2005. The Savoy is the first hotel in Russia to become a member of the prestigious "Small Luxury Hotels of the World " group.
