London Mission Society (LMS), CSI church and other Church Complexes.
The LMS compound was built on the 16 acres donated by the Maharajah to the London Missionary Society (LMS) in return for the land acquired for the building of the present day University College and University Library, Palayam. The LMS compound contains, the residence of the Bishop of the South Kerala Diocese, Church of South India (C.S.I.), the M.M.Church, the Balikamandiram (girls hostel), the womens hostel, LMS mens hostel, the students hostel and a home for the physically disadvantaged. One of the oldest school buildings in Trivandrum city used to stand on the place where the Child development fund buildings now stand. Both the Polio home hall and the triple jubilee hall (T.J.M. hall) can hired for private functions. The South Kerala Diocese offices and the LMS school too are located in this compound.
