Elevation 282 feet above sea level. From up here one takes in a terrific 270 degree panorama of the Garrapata coast. A rustic bench long enough to seat four people faces due west. The backrest of the bench is inscribed with a quotation from Ralph Waldo Emerson's 1844 essay on Experience.
