Royal Castle in Piotrków was built between 1512-1519 by Master Benedict at the direction of Sandomierz Sigismund.
It is a Renaissance style building made of brick and sandstone, four-storey, hipped roof covered dating from 1670, which is the period of reconstruction after the Swedish deluge. Now a museum.
