Designed by Harrison & Abramovitz Architects with Willet Studios, this building was the main exhibit space of the Hall of Science during the 1964-1965 World’s Fair. The striking honeycomb design, in the manner of a cell, featured a remarkable façade crafted with dalle de verre cast glass fabricated by Blenko Glass Company of West Virginia.

The building was recently restored and reopened in 2008. As part of the restoration process, 50 panels were recreated by Willet Hauser Studios.
