  i'm a grandson of gilbert maure. I just wanted to say that i have'nt lived in LaSalle in over 35 years.and to see our last name on a park sign, via google map, really makes me want to come back. LaSalle is truley a wonderful place to have been raised. Tom Sawyer would of been jealous. In the 60s early 70s the land was plenty, Turkey Creek was so untamed, who would see LaSalle as being so vast back then ... today? Having a Park in my home town, named after my grandfather. is something to be proud of to say the least. I believe, counting my father..it's been 4 generations of us Maure's our children make 5/6 now. It's safe to say were here to stay. Thank you LaSalle for all the great memories.. Greg Maure
