Moss Field is the home field for the Webster Groves High School football and track and field teams, the Statesmen. It is the alternating home of the annual Turkey Day Game, with arch the arch rival Kirkwood Pioneers, a tradition that began in 1907. The winner of the Turkey Day Game gets possession of the coveted Frisco Bell, a bell from a Frisco RR locomotive, which is displayed throughout the year at the winner's high school. It is also the site of the annual graduation commencement ceremony.
