Current Status: From Tom Vaughn - The IFC Area is now a Park. The park uses the exact area that the IFC used to occupy.
The Launch Area is used by the Schools for maintenance and parking of School Buses. The magazines have a 1 foot thick cap of concrete on them. The air vents, stairwells, access hatches, etc. have been removed and the area paved over. This site had the administration and living facilities at the launch site. One of the barracks has been converted into a senior citizen center. The original basketball court is still in place. The former barracks is in nice shape. There are 3 other Army buildings left which are run down.
