Tigris River bridge

A brand new bridge linking the shores of Tigris River within the autonomous Kurdish (KRG) controlled area of Iraq, which at this point encompasses land on both sides of the river. The bridge is located only a few hundred yards south of the border with Syria. Remarkably, there is no road or border checkpoint between Irak (KRG) and Syria.
