  • Thuruth is a Malayalam word for Island which was used by the people in the neighbourhood for decades and the location shown is still known in that name.However,it is not an island surrounded by sea or river.It is considered as island just because it gets surrounded by the water in the paddy fiels around it during monsoon season.I suggest we should find the real name assigned by the Thaluk or Village authorities for this place to be available to public in the map.
