NSS Hindu college Changancherry
Mannath Padmanabhan got permission to start a college in Perunnai. He managed to get the present premises to start the college. Not a single money was there in his pocket. Many people suggested plans for college building. Mannam was not happy with any of the building plan. He asked engineer Rama Kurup to draw a plan which should look like a palace and the engineer designed the present construction. Every one laughed at Mannam for his pocket was empty but his dream was to build a palace. Later he managed to get donations from many rich and poor nair people...he walked miles and miles to mobilise funds...and finally he built this beautiful building which is really like a palace.
