Named for the street address of the wood shingled house across the street. The only nude beach inside the Santa Cruz city limits, and the only one in SC County sufficiently sheltered to allow sunbathing from October through May.

Comments

  • It might be not the only one, where you could meet naked people sunbathing, but definatelly the only one where you rarly see somebody dressed. Other clothes-optional beaches are outside the city limits.
  • Any of the State Park beaches are not swimsuit optional and the dress code is enforced, at least during tourist season. Within city limits it is more liberal and for a while all city beaches were "top optional." But, by local culture, this is the only beach where the authorities will leave you alone if you are fully nude.
  • I love this beach! haven't been nude there but i like it.
  • Best Nude beach community on the central coast. The policeman on the bicycle checks out the beach about five times per day, so it's pretty safe. There is a nude swim to the kelp beds (dark area just off-shore) every afternoon.
