Glacial mountain pass at 5128 meters (16,790 feet) connecting the Hispar Glacier's 49 km to 51 km of the 63 km Biafo Glacier, creating a 100 km glacial traverse, the longest in the world outside of the polar regions. This highway of ice connects the ancient mountain kingdoms of Nagir and Hunza in the west with Baltistan in the southeast.
