Kpeme is a town in the Biakoye District of the Volta Region of Ghana. It is also known as Gbi Wegbe as it is one of the towns in the Gbi Traditional Area. One of its citizens, Dr Ave K. P. Kludze, Jr, a rocket scientist of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was honoured in 2009 by Togbe Worde IV, Chief of Kpeme and the people during a durbar.
