The ancient town of Badagry was the place where a major slave port, Market and Cells was situated in the inglorious era of Slave Trade.
The place also played a prominent role in the civilisation of Nigeria, being the place where christianity was first preached in Nigeria.
Today it is a choice location for tourists all over the world
