Matlab Uttar (north) is an Upazila of Chandpur District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Matlab Uttar is bounded by Gojaria on the north, Matlab Dakshin on the south, Daudkandi on the east, and Shariatpur and Munshiganj on the west. This upazila is also bounded by Meghna on the north and north-west, and Dhonagoda on the east. “Shatnol Ghat” is historically significant since steamers from Gaolondo, Chandpur and Narayanganj used to use this river dock. The amazing natural green beauty besides the Megna edge attracts visitors regularly.
