This is the official headquarters of the Workers Party of Korea, or the Korean Workers Party. The Workers Party of Korea is ruling communist party of the DPRK. This building also houses the central offices of several government Ministries.
There is a portrait of Kim Il Sung on the wall facing the square. On the roof, there is a big cardboard flag of the Peoples Democratic Republic of Korea.

  • I removed one photo that in fact depicted the Foreign Trade Ministry, which is located on the other side of the square. The difference: the Central Party Committee is decorated with Kim Il Sung's portrait and a flag of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, while the foreign trade ministry boasts images of Marx and Lenin, and is topped with a Korean Worker's Party Flag.
