  • We got to the village(goan) and it left my friends and relatives in tears. It is amazing how emotional people get when they meet relatives they only know over the phone because the older people still stay in communication.yeki and zahier sre still in amazementabout how everybody in the village is probably,IS! related to them.Shamshad was in tears and was being riden up and down the village by motorcycle.This was extraordinary since he normally rides a superbike(1300cc to 120cc!)yea this was good! I now know that Inayat khatib spent a many good holiday at the home of Mukaddam Chicha (Abba chicha as they knew him in Pretoria.)I met his daughter.Amazing how people live diferent live ,know of each other ecause people talk of them and they don't know it.Mukaddam chicha was my grandfather Ebrahim mukkadam(died 1960-61?).He married my grandmother's sister and she was his second wife in South Africa. Maprol has deteriorated since we were last there in 1997...
