GIMT & GIPS is conveniently located at Azara, Guwahati on the National Highway No.37, sufficiently far enough from the hustle of Guwahati city, providing a congenial atmosphere for diligent academic pursuit. It is an idyllic spot located five kms to the east of L.G.B. International airport and 16 kms to the west of Guwahati Railway Station. Sprawled over more than 5 acres of land it is on the brink of the famous Deepor Beel, a natural water body which is a heaven for birdwatchers and lovers of aquatic life. The majestic Khasi & Jayantia hills stand on the southern side of the "Beel" providing a green picturesque view that is soothing to the eye. The college is well connected to the city and to all other places of the country through various modes of public and private transport.
