Unleavened Bread Café (Indianapolis, Indiana)

USA / Indiana / Indianapolis / Indianapolis, Indiana / Central Avenue, 3001
 restaurant, cafe, bakery

Great little cafe ministry intentionally creating a warm & welcoming atmosphere in which to make friends among a diverse multicultural set of cafe patrons. The food is great, everyone is warmly welcomed, and hugs are free!

As a ministry it shares the love that Jesus has shared with us, by serving the Mapleton-FallCreek neighborhood -- and especially serving those who need our help the most.

Visit us online at UBcafe.com -- a cafe blog from the neighborhood. The site includes a neat video of the cafe which you'll enjoy. UBcafe.com is provided to the cafe freely as a part of the TechMission program there, which also provides (free wifi!) internet access and training-help for folks to 'cross the digital divide'.

  • The cafe also hosts a number of community groups meeting here. For instance, Bethlehem House -- an addictions-counseling group. Also, a church group meets in back room of the cafe on Sunday mornings, and Tuesday evenings, etc... "Greater Faith House of Prayer", Pastor Joe Reaves.
  • I need help in finding a job.
