Fire Control tower

This fire control tower was built on Church Hill during World War 2 to control gun fire from the nearby coastal artillery defense batteries at Christopher Point, Mary Hill and Albert Head. Another tower (no longer in existence) was erected at Beechey Head in East Sooke Park.
