production, interesting place
One of several built c1845 to power atmospheric trains on the South Devon Railway between Exeter St Davids and Plymouth Millbay. It contained boilers that provided the power to pumps that created the vacuum to move the trains. This one was never used for its original purpose and is now part of a milk processing plant operated by Dairy Crest.
