The Kosmonsy Psychiatric Hospital was founded in 1869, instead of the former Piarist monastery, works continually from this year and is one of the oldest psychiatric hospitals in the Czech Republic. Facility with six hundred beds and five hundred employees provides psychological, psychiatric, sexology and alcohol assistance in the form as of inpatient as well outpatient.
