The company is engaged in the quarrying, processing and marketing of pumice from its mine located 160 km north of Vancouver, B.C. This is the only pumice mine in Canada.

Pumice is a creamy white volcanic material which when dry is light enough to float on water. Its cellular structure makes it useful for many applications where abrasiveness, absorbancy and weight are considerations.

The pumice found here was created 2350 years ago during an eruption of Plinth Peak.
