At one time, a reservoir, but it was converted into a very nice park, named after state Representative Cal Anderson, who died in 1995 of AIDS.

Very popular for hipsters, and kids alike. Often attracting many of the homeless community to come spend time in the park. Police often come around midnight to make sure there isn't underage drinking or homeless people attempting to stay in the park.
