Formerly the Pacific Portland Cement Company's Mountain Quarries. A glory hole connected the quarry with a natural cave, Hawver Cave, which was used to transport blasted limestone ore to the crusher and then shipped via rail. It was later owned by Spreckels Limestone Products, a subsidiary of Spreckels Sugar, for producing limestone used in the production of sugar. The site is now owned by Teichert.
