The original Charter of the Saskatchewan Elks Association was granted on May 27, 1929 under the seal of the Grand Lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and signed by Brother Gerald Sims of Ottawa, then the Grand Exalted Ruler. On the original Charter, one will find inscribed, the names of 32 Lodges and members of the Association.
