this school was first established in 1885 near the village of Gojra in Tarbela, got status of High School in 1954. When govt of Pakistan decided to build Tarbela Dam in Tarbela, this school was shifted to the current place. It got a status of Higher Secondary school near 1990, but with the construction of a separate Degree College, its status has been brought back to High School.

    I live in New Delhi but Tarbela haripur hazara are always on my mind because till 1947 my fore fathers were there and since my childhood I have been hearing stories of these places. I have great regard for these places. Wish one day I will get the chance to visit.

    same is the case here bro.... my parents left this place after Tarbela Dam's construction... n almost everytime they are used to talk about that place... can u plz mention ur forefathers' names and the village where they were used to live in... may be i can find few people who know them....

    xactly the same case here....i wish one day ol the water be drained from dam for some reason n i can see my orignal village gujra n chahaar in tarbela...even if theres no water but due to sedimentation i wud not b able to see my parent homes n the graves of my paternal n meternal grandfather :( i wish i can see my orignal village for one day
