Longest Single-spanned Covered Bridge in the United States at 251 feet. Built across the south fork of the Yuba River by David Wood in 1862 with lumber from his mill in Plumb Valley, Sierra County. The bridge was restored in 1969 by the Nevada County Historic Society.
