  • I was in Fci Talcher township,Bikrampur from August 1975 to April 1996. I was working in Heavy Water plant Talcher of department of Atomic Energy which was dependent on adjacent FCI, Talcher for ammonia. The township was catering to both the organisations in all respect. The township was self sufficient in all respect also. There were two High schools and one hospital in the colony. There were bank and post office also. The township was smiling in all respect. When I left the township on transfer in April 1996 FCI was still running. But in early 1st decade of 21st century it closed down, because running it was not economical. However Heavy Water plant diversified and continued to live honorably.
  • Living in FCI Talcher Township was all fun. I lived there from August 1990 to August 1992. I was in class 7th when I joined Kendriya Vidyalaya. It was very nice living & meeting people from other parts of the country
