Michael Idvorsky Pupin Bridge will connect settlements of Zemun and Borča in Belgrade. Chinese company "China Road and Bridge Corporation" (CRBC) will build it, and therefore it is decided that the bridge gets the name of China.

It is envisaged that the bridge will be 1507 meters long, 29m wide and 23m high, with a total of six roadways and pedestrian-bicycle paths on both sides. Bridge also will have two larger spans with sloping cables for the passage of ships. The length of the access roads will be 21.6 km. Bridge will be part of the "External Main Tangent" of the city.

Works will be officially designated on July 14, 2010, when starting to take a three-year contract, and official work will begin in September 2010. Bridge is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2013.
