Sivagiri is a small town which is based mainly agriculture but it has some well devleoped infrastructure like Telecom(it has AirTel,AirCell,BSNL,BPL, Reliance,TATA Indicom Services). Very good Government Higher Secondary schools for Boys and Girls. A famous Market Regulatory committe for procuring Gingli (Ell), Groundnut and coconut items, etc. farmers are very happy to sell here. Well connected road to the main city to Erode and for recreation one cinema theater available here(earlier two theaters). "Velayuthaswami Temple" or Murugan Temple is located here. Very plesant town.

  • Very nice place of Murugan Temple and yearly festival in "Chithira matham" and Cart will be moved in the Cart street. I'm from Kumaravalasu,Sivagiri.

  • its my home town. having developed from earlier of erode district. now its the border town for erode district since muthur seperated for tirupur district. it has highest production of textiles through handlooms and powerlooms. it yeilds most for Karur. with Canara bank, KVB and pallavan Bank with ATMs. Well transport facility for Erode, Kodumudi, Karur, VBellakoil, Dharapuram, Kangeyam, Perundurai and Chennimalai. Its the byepass route for Erode to M\Karur and Dindigul, Madurai and Tiruchi. Located 30kms from Erode, Perundurai and Kangeyam. and 23kms from Vellakoil and Chennimalai. and 40kms from Karur, Namakkal and Moolanur. 50kms from Tirupur.
