Irimbanam Railway Yard is on the side of Sea Port air port road Must be Converted into a central station for the new Metro /Suburban Project. This yard is sparingly used This was made for oil fright for KRL. Now the oil products are transported by direct pipeline (Inserted by the friend of Kochi Jj)
this yard is under utilised ,Pl take over for metro project and make this yard as start station.There Is lot of space for keeping the spare trains etc

  • The metro rail has to come ether in in public or Jt or in privet. The metro should be extended up to at least up to smart city then again to moovattupuha Kothamangam KOChi is Struggling with its worst traffic woes .We are deeply frustrated with traffic conjunction and no traffic laws are followed I wish the govt will take it seriouly .It can be implimented with in 3 years good luck
  • This is MAIN HUB where a variety of Petroleum products from BPCL-KRL and fertilizers from FACT are handled for transportation and distribute via Rail networks across the country.So look elsewhere for Metro Central!
  • I think there is scope for a Rail line to Kakkanad from here. Kakkanad needs its own Integrated Transport Station Mobility Hub
