GANDAM
Gandam was the capital of ancient Gandam Valley.thw word 'Gandam' in Sanskrit means the Vijaya or victory.She was ruled by the brahmins in early ancient era.When the tribal Gond rulers occupied the Gandam vally in 2nd century AD, they made their capital on the bank of the Jungbuda River(Ancient Udria River)and named the capital as Gandam.The non triba marathas rulers of Mathra dynasty occupied her later and the non tribal rulers of Mahakul dynast occupied her in the late of 15th century AD and ruled over Gandam valley for 400 years.The last ruler of Gandam of this dynasty in capital was Bhaktaram Mahakul after the British invasion to Gandam Valley.
