Late 19th century factory that initially produced textiles, but is best known for producing its namesake, cigars. After the site's sale in 2005 to a real estate developer, the plan was to restore and convert the structure into upscale condominiums. The collapse of the real estate market threw the building's future into limbo, but in late 2013 the property changed hands again, and is now destined for conversion into office and retail units instead.
