A 350 acre park with day staging area, (Wilderness adventure pass required for vehicle parking). Also small camping area, (10 spaces). Cement holding tank restrooms and hand pumped water.
Trails range from moderate to more difficult. Many hills which do have washout gully's to be careful off.
Getting there is half the adventure. 8 miles of road from route 74. Some good but becomes very twisty with many up/down hill sections.
Of course you can come in from the south, but that is even more arduous. The drive involves going to the end of Clinton Keith road and turn right onto Tenaja road which turns into Cleveland national forest road. Now you have 10 miles of very tight twisty single lane road to get to the OHV area. rarely exceeding 20 MPH. Beautiful drive for sure.

You can see the La Cresta development from the HOV but no road to get down to it, Hence the long drive out.
