  • Hi, I'm Sushanth Kumar Das native of Orissa, but grown and brought up in Gowripatnam. A village where I lived for 20years. And I feel proud to be a citizen of this Village. The people, Culture, Traditions are seem to be Fantablous. This village come across while travelling from Rajahmundry to Vijayawada Hi-way. Gowripatnam comes under Deverapalli mandal, West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. This Village is mainly meant for Agriculture where we can see fields as Green Carpets placed at either sides of road. The Business people of Stone metals, Crushers, etc., are mostly seen. This Village is Famous for the Lord SHIVA's Temple as Krishna said in the earlier Comment. The Devotees visit the temple regularly. They celebrate all the festivals grandly. The Church of Nirmalagiri is one of the tourist places where many visit from all over the world. The Institutions, Hospitals, Industries available in the village brings colours to the village, as they serve a lot, not only this village but also neighbouring villages.
