Downtown Orlando neighborhood with brick streets. The neighborhood is surrounded by Lake Lancaster on the north and West, Kaley Ave to the South and Fern Creek Ave to the East. The neighborhood has a gated archway entrance off of Ferncreek Dr. just north of the intersection with Curry Ford. A historic neighborhood located just south of downtown Orlando Commercial District, west of the Hourglass district and east of the SODO commercial district. The community is non-deed restricted and homes date as early as the late 1800's. The last portion to be platted, was the Paradise Green section in 1930, most original construction was completed by World War 2. Many notable political and business leaders have lived in this community, including at one time the sitting Mayor and two sitting US Senators.
