Slapy dam and hydroelectric power plant

The dam 260 m long and 60 m high was built in the years 1949-1955. Afloated area 1162,7 hectars with maximum 58 m depth. Three Kaplan turbines gives each 48 MW output. Includes 110kV and 22kV switching station.
Upper spillways (as seen on photo) were used during major flooding in august 2002 only.
