It is a small bazar (market) in Bilasipara sub-division of Dhubri District in Assam. There will be weekly BAZAR. One Higher Secondary (Sc) School is there, established in 1952. One post office, few ME School and lower primary schools are there. One police outpost and one state dispensary are also there. This bazar is surrounded by villages dominated by Assamese/Goalpariya seaking Muslims and Hindus. One JAMA MASJID and a DURGA MANDIR are the notable religious centers you will find here. Buses run through this place to Kokrajhar, Fakiragram, Serphanguri, Bilasipara, Dhubri, etc.
