Mallapura village is located on brink of Thunga Bhadra River(near to Kudli). Mallapura is one of the majaor village in Shimoga dist. you can see the culture, Unity of people, Beatiful Nature. Mallapura is famous for Temples which had great two tempels one is Sri Malleshwara temple another one is Sri Parvatham temple since from 1734. It's major production Areca nut. Mallapura villagers are Patriots, who fought against British people. In this vilage Hinduism plays vital role as they are Hindus.
